Entitlement to Benefits (Government Benefits, Long Term Disability, WSIB)

If television commercials were true after an injury, insurance companies and government agencies would respond quickly and honestly to provide you with the benefits you deserve. Sadly that is often not the case. Insurance companies and government bureaucracies often create barriers in attempts to delay and reduce your compensation.

In reality claims are often met with a refusal as many people, coping with pain, frustration and financial and having no real understanding of the law simply walk away and get nothing.

Those who choose to pursue their rights are subjected to medical reviews by “expert” doctors, who co-incidentally often appear to downplay disability and with requests for intimate personal information and private records.
